THE WEEK'S SUMMARY.

Last weekend was way too short. I had three different sets of people that were down here from California. I tried to hang out with some people from the valley[C.Jae's group] but some complications... I walked in to the chaos that was Jet but it was way too crowded. Danity Kane was there; so, alot of groupies! Left the place with the quickness. I head out to Christian Audigier to meet up the girls. I was surprised to see the homies from way back. They were all @ CA partying for a bachelor party. A little drama ensued because everyone was faded. We decided to head to Roberto's for some late night eats. We all end up at Emu's house for a coed slumber party.

Pierre & Nikki.

We all knock out after the late night meal.

I wake up around 11am[the earliest ever] lol. Everyone is hungry and we decide to have an old fashioned Filipino breakfast. Kristine cooked the corned beef. Nikki cooked the spam. Tagz made the rice and I cooked the eggs to order. Mad food coma after that. I had to go to work @ 3pm; so, I tried to take a nap. It's really hard to do that when 3 girls are giggling and you have Mik making wet farts all day. Wash your ass, bro! LMAO.

Saturday comes around I'm still tired from friday night. I'm really still tired from monday and thursday night. We celebrated Kris' bday all week. I meet with Abs and her friends @ Tao. We have a couple drinks and Abs gets drunken. lol. I skip and head out to the Mirage after.

Veronica & Jeanelle.

Kris & Jaycee.

I hear some commotion about blood and craziness. Jeanelle was dying. She needed medical attention!

AHHHHHHH! Come on, Jeanelle!

Mik to the rescue! I don't think it's sanitary to smoke and do that at the same time. You're the nurse!

We end up in Chinatown for Korean bbq. Worst service ever! The food was decent but I was hella faded. Anything would have tasted good. Soo glad I didn't have work on sunday. It's nice to have part of the weekend off. Everyone was tired and cranky. We retreat to Emu's house again and knock out. I slept like a baby and snored like a grown man.

Woke up @ 1pm. We were hungry for wings... really hungry.

Jaycee & Jeanelle.

Yea... Moos-tache. LOLWTF?!

Nikki joins in the moos-tache fun. lol.

I like Buffalo Wild Wings.

I was still in my "walk of shame" clothes and I needed a wardrobe change quick-like. Everyone had the itch to gamble and my car was still at the Mirage. They decided to gamble a little before their flights home. Jeanelle hit the roulette table and Nikki was on blackjack.

Jeanelle spacin.

RETAIL THERAPY.

After all that weekend partying, everyone was kinda somber. It might be the massive amounts of alcohol consumed or other reasons. We decided that the best medicine was shopping for unneeded things that make us beautiful. We ended up at the Charleston Outlets and after we leave the place I saw smiles on the girl's faces again.

Niks walks out with three out of four outfits shown.

Walked out with a grey cardigan and wool knit cap I've been looking for.

POSERS PLS STOP.

The new look for streetwear this season are loud, multicolor flannels. The trend I see is people buying anything that has a popular tag on it. Flannels are suppose to be the working man's uniform. People shouldn't pay outrageous prices for that sh*t!

Crooks & Castles' flannel has a whopping $100 msrp. A hundred dollars for a flannel shirt??! Ridics. I still see it selling out though.

The next example is MISHKA's flannel with an msrp of $65. Oh what a steal! I see streetwear fags lining up in front of boutiques now.

I went vintage hunting recently and I walked out with this flannel for less than $20. If you take the time and stop with the posing, you can find similar looks for less than what the boutiques are selling it for. The quality is great and the material is butter soft.

THE PHUNKY FEEL ONE.

I have been recently reintroduced to the first tape that made me fall in love with hip hop. Yes, I did say tape. It was in grade school when I started listening to Cypress Hill. They sounded like their style was east coast but they were really from California.

I remember going on a 6th grade field trip and my friend at the time named Jay Ong borrowed the tape during the bus ride and telling me that he had mysteriously lost it. How can you lose a tape in a bus on a 45 minute ride??! I could never prove that he stole the tape from me.

The relationship was never the same again.

The past is the past and now I am continuously listening to my childhood music bumped hard in the Montero!

Thank you Drunken Joe.

INTERMEZZO.

We recently had a six course wine dinner at Austin's. I had the privilege of photographing the whole event and it was exciting to see talented chefs working together like a well oiled machine. The guests enjoyed themselves. These are the dishes the order they were served.

Scallop on polenta with balsamic, red pepper and basil infused oils.

Lobster, corn, and potato chowder.

Grilled caesar salad with roasted red pepper, gorgonzola, bacon, parmesan crostini, and red wine vinaigrette.

California seabass and thyme grilled shrimp on risotto with a smoked tomato coulee.

Filet mignon with lobster medallions.

White chocolate, banana, and coffee creme brulee.
