Cipher is entering the holidays by re-examining their successful line of contemporary sneakers. Instead of creating completely new designs Cipher is updating the fit and comfort of the line by adding memory foam into the insoles. Cipher have also trimmed down the profile on the sneakers to ensure a slimmer fit. Look for the holiday line to focus on monochromatic tonals in white, black, and gray.

DITA: LANCIER COLLECTION.

The Lancier Collection by Dita Eyewear has proven to be one of the more technical sunglasses out in the market. The frames are constructed from high quality titanium for improved durability and not to mention the interchangeable quick release templates. What’s also interesting is the marked lenses, each intended for a separate purpose as an indicator for land, air, and sea.

LOOKS LIKE FUTURAS.

It’s been a while since Nike designed an SB worth waiting in line for. Other than the blue lobsters which sold out instantly, this new Obsidian and Black could have the potential to turn out the same. The dark blue highlights are made of suede and the same goes for the swoosh except for the difference in color. Parts of the toe area and behind the swoosh are perforated to complete to the look.

Having long been fans of the Shofolk Andre boot, winter it seems, can never come soon enough for the right occasion to wear them. Not wanting to leave their devout without decent footwear, Shofolk also happens to have amazing options for Fall, one of which being the Armstrong, pictured above in Bitter Chocolate. Based on a desert boot along with Shofolk’s distinctive toe that’s a little fatter and rounder than what you might be accustomed to, the fact that these are handmade in Portugal from leather and suede, much like their winter counterparts, have us sold. Love the midcut profile, the dark chocolate brown synonymous with Fall and of course, the contrasting white rubber sole but be forewarned, these provide limited grip on slippery surfaces.

Mary Anne's artwork caught my attention when I saw her paintings of dainty[but crazy] looking girls on throat slicers. I knew right away that I wanted the pieces the first I saw them but she said she wasn't selling yet. SOL. My penchant for raw art has grown. When combined with the subject matter I enjoy the most... it is instant love. She is one of the few people in 2009 that does not have a bwog; so, the flickr account is the only place to see her samples. All artists should keep blogs to see the evolution of the work. IMO. My plan is to sweetalk her everyday; so, I can be the first on her list when she finally puts out. So far, it hasn't been working out. #stoneface

BEAT THIS MEAT. ERR HEAT.

There is nothing I enjoy more than talking to girl while I'm sweating like a pig[SARCASM]. Summer is not a fave season of mine unless I'm at the beach or a pool party. The clubs/bars are hot and stuffy. The most stylish thing I can wear without suffocating is a vee. Winter time is shine time. I like wearing jackets and/or full suits; so here are some looks I want to achieve come the colder months.

SHOFOLK FOOTWEAR COLLECTION.

As an extension of the original Folk brand, the footwear division Shofolk continues on a similar design path. The emphasis on clean and traditional apparel is not lost with high-quality releases featuring Italian leathers and Portuguese construction. Among the highlights of the season should very well be the Alaric loafer style with a rich buttery suede upper, tonal leather strap and contrasting leather laces.


In a mid-cut offshoot of their Alaric model, Shofolk unveils their chukka-style Armstrong. A clean, understated design with a slim toebox includes some subtle design cues including leather.

I didn't need GQ to know that it's ok to rock sneaks with a suit. There should be NO rules when it comes to fashion. If it looks good then it looks good.
