Simple Citizens’ moves its listeners through an array of organic sounds that shift from a heavy bass to a raw guitar. They do not limit themselves to a specific genre; instead they challenge those who take pleasure in hip-hop, jazz, funk and reggae.

Simple Citizens finally came together in 2001 through mutual friends in Palmdale, California.
Each band member contributes a unique musical experience to create the euphoric melodies which make-up Simple Citizens.

The lyrics of Simple Citizens evoke those day to day challenge one battles with in a metropolitan area like the San Fernando Valley. Don’t be surprised if a few social issues are thrown in the mix because these guys are all about stimulating your intelligence.
